Asiyah Eid Picnic

The Eid picnic is postponed to tomorrow due to weather, June 8th—same time (3–7 PM) and place (Sheep’s Meadow, Central Park)!

Didn’t make it to last year’s Eid picnic? You missed out—over 1,000 people came through, and it was beautiful. This year, we’re doing it again, and we’d love to see you there. It’s a chill, family-friendly day in the park with good people, fun activities, and space to just enjoy Eid together. Everyone is welcome—men and women alike.

Here’s what to expect: We’ll have games like cornhole, badminton, volleyball, frisbee, football, hula hoops, and even a pull-up bar competition hosted by Sabr Athletics. For those who prefer to keep it lowkey, there’ll be plenty of table games too—think UNO, dominoes, playing cards, and more.

Kids will love the temporary tattoo station, and for those looking for a little healing or creativity, we’ve got an arts and healing space with henna and a chance to write a heartfelt note to a survivor.

We’re also excited to have vendors on-site, including the Very Cool Ice Cream Cart to help you cool off and treat yourself.

What should you bring? Make sure to pack food and drinks for you and your people, a blanket to sit on, and anything you’d like to share—whether it’s extra games, snacks, or good vibes.
