Immigrant & Refugee Relief

Why Immigrant & Refugee Relief Matters

Asiyah Women’s Center has been a sanctuary for immigrant and refugee women and families fleeing violence, persecution, and displacement.

Our Immigration & Refugee Program provides culturally competent, trauma-informed services, addressing the unique needs of Arab, Middle Eastern, Muslim, South Asian (AMEMSA), and Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) populations.

  • 70% of clients have been in the U.S. for less than two years, requiring significant support to integrate.

  • 60% of clients are survivors of gender-based violence or human trafficking, requiring specialized care and support.

We offer emergency shelter, legal advocacy, case management, and holistic support to promote healing and integration into the community.
