Housing Justice
It all begins with an idea.
Asiyah Women’s Center is committed to providing housing support and resources for women in need, especially survivors of domestic violence. Through our referral system, we connect clients with external services and provide numbers for additional support. We work to ensure that survivors have access to appropriate housing options. Our team also coordinates with external organizations to facilitate transitional housing for survivors, helping them navigate their journey toward stability and safety.
Community Engagement
It all begins with an idea.
We foster community involvement by creating opportunities for people to give back to domestic violence survivors and engage in a safe, supportive environment. We raise awareness and fundraise through initiatives like Aunt-tea Time, Asiyah Allies, and various events. Community members can volunteer, and participate in our annual College Asiyah Charity Week competition every October.
Immigrant/Refugee Relief Program
It all begins with an idea.
The Immigrant/Refugee Relief Program at Asiyah Women’s Center supports families relocating from Gaza with rent and food assistance. We offer volunteer opportunities, a monthly donation drive, and a mentorship program for migrant and college students. Additionally, we provide mutual aid to Gazan refugees in Egypt.
Mental Health & Health Services
It all begins with an idea.
Asiyah Women’s Center connects women with counseling and therapy services from licensed professionals, along with regular check-ups by physicians and mental health experts. We also offer healing circles to support emotional recovery. In collaboration with the CAPS program, we ensure accessible, comprehensive care for those in need.
